Sex Toy Review: The Laid C1 Clitoral Vibrator

Laid C1 Clitoral Vibrator is the only vibrator in the legacy of the company Laid. In spite of being the first vibrator in the Laid family, it proves to be a quite exquisite clitoral toy. Just like the vibrators for sale of the Laid family, C1 also is asymmetrical in shape. There is a studded pattern in the flat part of the C1 clitoral vibrator. In addition to that, there is a curved handle sort of shape that makes it easy to hold and grapple. Also, that round part can also be used to stimulate the clitoral.

There are many possibilities in the Laid C1 Clitorial Vibrator. Its shape, handle and studded pattern makes it one exquisite clitoral vibrator. The asymmetric layout leads you to try it out in all the possible ways you can find to tease yourself either with sensations or a hard stimulus. All it takes a little idea and innovation which will let you discover the new heights of your inner self.

Because the handle can be used in a variety of ways it also means that you never feel like you’re holding the Laid C.1 incorrectly. The handle is basically a seal of approval for whatever position you use the Laid C.1 in: it never judges and always facilitates your masturbatory habits. In this way, it’s kind of like the sex toy equivalent of the fairy godmother except without that pesky midnight clause. As long as the Laid C.1 is charged you can use it whenever you wish.

The Laid C.1 is controlled by a single button which filters through its rather minimal 2 speeds and 1 pulsating pattern. Typically I’d like at least 3 speeds on my vibrator but I kind of feel like this was an intentional statement on Laid’s side. It says to me that the vibrations themselves are secondary to actually feeling the toy’s surface and deciding what feels right to you. It’s a nice statement about sexual discovery, for sure, and I can appreciate it. Sometimes simplicity is better.

In terms of luxury perks the Laid C.1 is waterproof (making it easy to clean) and USB rechargeable. It also has a low battery warning feature built right into the device. 120 minutes of charging will get you up to 110 minutes of play (or a 90 day standby time) which is respectable. Not every toy on the market can produce an almost one-to-one ratio like that so I’m happy to see that Laid pulled it off.

Final Thoughts
Conceptually I really like the Laid C.1’s aspirations towards versatility and I think they are very well executed in practice. Using this toy was an enlightening experience and when a sex toy reviewer is saying that you know it holds some weight.

That being said I’m still not sure I would recommend the Laid C.1 to wand-lovers and rumble purists. The Laid C.1 has a lot going for it, but its vibration strength does take a back burner to the design of the toy itself. This certainly isn’t a bad thing but it does mean you need to keep your vibration preference firmly in mind if you want to buy the Laid C.1 Vibrator.

Recommend to:
  • People who like gentle-to-mid level vibrations.
  • People who want to explore their body.
  • Vibration newbies who don’t want to start off with a strong toy.

Do Not Recommend to:
  • Exclusive power queens.
  • People who need rumbly vibrations.
  • People who prefer standard shapes.
